Major Giving
San Diego County is fortunate to have a number of individuals who have the resources and commitment to improving the quality of life for those who most need our help in our community. Many of them have become Major Givers at United Way of San Diego County. We hope that you will join this dedicated group of donors in becoming a major giver to one of our community’s most important philanthropic efforts: The United Way/CHAD Campaign.
United Way’s Major Givers have chosen the United Way as one of their primary vehicles for making a difference in San Diego County. They know that United Way has studied what community issues matter most to the region’s residents and the United Way is leading collaborative efforts to find the underlying causes of these challenging problems. United Way is working with experts to create innovative new services that result in measurable and lasting solutions to these critical issues.
Whether these Major Donors are members of United Way’s Tocqueville Society, Legacy Society, or Leadership Giving Society, they know their investment in United Way of San Diego County is the most efficient and effective way for their philanthropy to have the greatest possible impact in our community. In fact, within the past two years, United Way has moved to a Community Impact model that increases the impact of donor contributions by focusing on solving three specific and major problems in our region: Homeless Outreach and Prevention, Stopping Child Abuse and Neglect and Promoting Financial Stability and Independence.
Please consider becoming a Major Giver to United Way of San Diego County and help build a stronger community.
